And furthermore, I loved Drew Barrymore. Then. Not now. I don't dislike her, but I yearn for the days when Drew was on the cover of Playboy. Not this one. What is it about people getting older and all of a sudden turning their noses down at their previous, more free-spirited selves?

Ms. Jolie is doing the same damn thing. That beautiful creature just might want to remember where she came from and why men and women the world over find her so appealing.

Anyway. It's not them, necessarily, that are my issue here. I'm all for people maturing, but I just despise it when people suddenly change in such a way that seems to go against who they've been their entire lives--it simply seems too contrived.
